[ Emma hasn't met Elsa yet, which is a shame, considering how close they would eventually become. ]

[ Regina scowls at the text, but mostly at herself. It's hard to remember who knows what when she's known multiple versions of Emma now. ]

Elsa, Queen of Arendelle. You and she have an important connection.

More surprise family?

[ She's being a smartass so it's funny how close that is to the truth, from a certain point of view. ]

[ It isn't really a story for text, but... ]

Your foster mother Ingrid was her aunt.

I had a lot of foster families, but I don't remember an Ingrid.

[ Regina rolls her eyes. How is she supposed to keep track of what Emma does and doesn't remember? Even in their shared timeline she's had her memories altered more often than Bridezilla's wedding gown. ]

Of course you don't.

[ There's a brief pause between the texts while Regina decides how much to tell her in a text. ]

Apparently you didn't take it well the first time you ran into her in Storybrooke.

[ Nothing is simple, is it? Like, ever. Ever. ]

What did she do?

Before or after she froze Storybrooke?

She wanted you all to be one beautiful blonde family.

Badly enough that she edited out Elsa's actual sister. Anna.

That's gross on so many levels.

Is everyone okay? What happened to her?

You and Elsa happened to her.

[ With her hatred. But that's a different story, or at least a different part of this story. ]

She sacrificed herself to save you. Got her happy ending in the ever after with her own sisters. A charming tale, or should I say Charming?

As for the rest of us... Marian had remnants of Ingrid's frost spell lodged in her heart. I couldn't cure her. The only way to save her was to send her across the town line, which, thanks to Ingrid's spell can't be crossed the opposite direction.

Her magic wasn't undone when she died?

[ That didn't make any sense. Zelena's spells had all been broken when her life ended. ]

If they had, would I still be in mourning?

No. And before you ask, if I don't know. I ended up in Dodge before I figured it out.
